  • Announcement of Shortlisted Teams:

  • The top 45 teams will be selected based on their Round 1 submissions.

  • Round 2 (In-Person Hackathon):
    30–31 January 2026
    A 24-hour in-person hackathon held at AIT Pune.

Eligibility
  • Open to all students from recognized colleges and universities.

  • Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members.

  • Each team can submit only one entry in Round 1.

  • Only teams shortlisted from Round 1 will qualify for Round 2.

  • Participants must carry valid student ID cards for verification during the in-person hackathon.

Project and Submission Requirements Round 1 – Online PPT Submission
  • Participants must use the official PPT template provided by the organizing team.

  • The PPT must include:

    • Problem statement

    • Proposed solution

    • Innovation and uniqueness

    • Technical approach or tech stack

    • Feasibility

    • Impact and scalability

  • Submissions that do not follow the given template will not be evaluated.

  • Based on the PPT evaluation, 45 teams will be shortlisted for Round 2.

Round 2 – In-Person Hackathon

Shortlisted teams must participate in a 24-hour hackathon and are required to:

  • Build a working prototype of the same idea submitted in Round 1.

  • Demonstrate the core functionality through a live demo.

  • Submit the source code, final presentation, and basic documentation at the venue.

  • Present their project and implementation details to the judging panel.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  1. Innovation and Creativity
    Uniqueness of the idea and novelty of the solution.

  2. Technical Implementation
    Functionality of the prototype, code quality, and effective use of technology.

  3. Impact and Feasibility
    Practical application, scalability, and real-world usefulness.

  4. Design and User Experience
    Clarity, ease of use, and overall presentation quality.

  5. Presentation and Demonstration
    Clear explanation of the solution and ability to answer questions from judges.

Winner Selection
  • Judges will assign scores based on the above parameters.

  • Winners will be selected based on total scores.

  • The judges’ decision will be final and binding.
